Free HTML Project Inquiry Form Generator

Studios still get ‘got a quick project’ DMs with no budget, no site, and no date. The form should ask for a summary, optional site ZIP or postcode, and company so US and UK producers can qualify before a chemistry call.

How to Use This Form Generator

1

Create a producer Form ID

Not every designer’s personal mail.

2

Require the summary

One-line ‘website pls’ can still be declined quickly.

3

Place next to case studies

Intent is highest there.

4

Reply with next step

Chemistry call or a no-thanks with a referral.

Project inquiries as a scope sketch

A project inquiry is how a client starts a piece of work: campaign, fit-out, implementation, film. It is not a job application and it is not a PO. US clients talk kickoff and ZIP for on-site; UK clients talk programme and postcode. The extra summary field is the brief they would otherwise paste into Instagram.

You will still do discovery. This page is the filter that saves a producer from a 45-minute call about a £200 flyer.

Enough brief to say yes or not now

Missing location is how you underprice travel. Missing timeline is how you say yes to a week that is already full.

  • Project summary as a dedicated textarea.
  • Site ZIP or postcode when the work is not remote.
  • Company and a real email.
  • Inquiry type if the studio also takes press.

Ask budget band in the summary placeholder if your studio’s culture allows it. Do not add a public ‘what’s your budget’ shaming field if it tanks completion.

How projects arrive at studios

Awards pages get traffic. The form is what turns traffic into a pipeline.

1. HTML on /work-with-us

Next to case studies, not hidden in a footer.

2. Procurement portals

RFPs can use the RFP generator. This form is the warmer inbound.

3. Instagram DMs

Reply with this URL.

4. Referral emails

Forwarders should still make the client fill this so the brief is theirs.

Project CTAs on a static portfolio

Portfolios are often static for speed. Publish the form once; do not install WordPress for a form.

Remote versus on-site: the ZIP or postcode field tells producers whether to add travel in the first ballpark.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fixed-fee versus T&M?

Do not decide on the form. Capture enough to choose a commercial model later.

NDA before the brief?

Offer a DocuSign link in the intro if your clients are like that.

Multiple vendors bidding?

Ask in the summary. It changes how much spec you give away.

Start date yesterday?

Preferred timing in the summary; be honest about capacity.
