Today an AI assistant writes your website from your own answers. You stay in charge. It's your words, your prices, your details.
- Open the AI assistant on your computer.
- Copy the prompt below. Fill in everything in {curly brackets} from your notes.
- Paste it in and send.
- When the answer arrives, copy the whole code block. Most assistants show a "Copy" button on it.
- On your computer, create a folder called website. Inside it, open a plain text editor (Notepad on Windows, TextEdit on Mac set to plain text). Paste the code and save it as index.html in that folder.
- Double-click index.html. It opens in your browser. That's your website, on your own computer.

Contact form: fields for Name, Email, Phone (marked optional), and Message, plus a consent checkbox that is not ticked by default, labelled "I agree that {business name} can use these details to reply to my enquiry. [Privacy]" linking to privacy.html. Under the button, add: "We usually reply within {time, e.g. a few hours}." Check before you finish. Read every word on the page. AI assistants sometimes invent details. Remove anything that isn't true: awards, years in business, guarantees. If something is wrong, tell the assistant: "Change only this: … Keep everything else exactly the same. Give me the full updated file."
