Original This or That pairs plus a prompt builder: mix categories, skip vendor branding unless you want a credit line, host the HTML yourself, and optionally save picks once. You keep the traffic. We keep the records.

This or that: two equal choices side by side

Build a This or That page in one prompt

Pick a pack. Copy a prompt. Host the HTML on your site.

You keep the URL and the engagement. MyFormCapture only stores answers if you add a form UUID. Branding is off unless you choose a small credit line.

Custom lines go first. The bank fills the rest so you still get 10 questions.

Open copies the prompt, then asks you to paste (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V).

TL;DR

  • This or That is a forced choice with no wrong answer. It works as an icebreaker because nobody has to share a story.
  • Host the HTML on your domain. Visitors stay on your site. You get the traffic.
  • If you want a list of picks, POST once at the end. We save the record. You do not need a branded widget.

How to play

Ask a pair. Everyone picks one side. Justification is optional. Time limits and teams are optional. The same pairs work in a meeting, a classroom, a party, or a page you embed.

Host it on your website

A poll or icebreaker that lives on someone else’s domain sends people away. A single HTML file on your site keeps the conversation where you already have trust. Default branding is off. Add a credit line only if you want to.

FAQ

How do you play This or That?

Someone asks a pair of options. Everyone picks one. Nobody has to explain. You can play in a room, on a call, or as a page on your site.

Do I need a MyFormCapture account?

No. Paste the prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, save the HTML, and host it. An account is only needed if you want answers stored.

Will the page show your branding?

Not unless you choose Optional credit in the builder. Default is no vendor name, so the game looks like it belongs on your site.

Can it stay anonymous?

Yes. The generated page does not ask for email. Save posts a JSON list of picks, once, at the end.

Need somewhere to store the picks?

Create a MyFormCapture form. Host the HTML yourself. We keep the records.
